Start with the documented color character
Cyberspace is a cool charcoal black with a very low reflectance value. A physical comparison is needed to decide how that character works with your own finishes. Cyberspace brings cool charcoal-black depth, so a nearly black wall is a reasonable possibility in weaker light.
Why the cognac seating and white shelving relationship matters
Cognac furniture and white shelving supply different kinds of contrast: warm color from one, a clear light outline from the other.
Cyberspace has an LRV of 6; Sherwin-Williams Sea Serpent SW-7615 is 7. The difference is 1 points, with Sea Serpent returning more light under the reference measurement. Sea Serpent is a very dark navy. This supplies a named color control; the LRV gap alone does not identify the warmer, greener or pinker paint.
Use Sea Serpent as a control
Give Cyberspace enough illuminated area to reveal its color, then move the same board into the normal shadow. Compare it briefly with Sea Serpent. Decide whether the hue is important everywhere or whether a near-black impression is acceptable in the darker parts of the planned surface.
Separate a persistent cast from a comparison effect
Use the warmth of the furniture as contrast and check whether the shelving still defines the dark wall. The warm-versus-cool comparison covers that related choice.
If the unwanted cast remains beside a permanent finish under normal light, that is a practical reason to replace Cyberspace. If it appears only beside an unused sample, remove the comparison and assess the intended palette alone. Before ordering samples, compare room-planning features in the paint color visualizer roundup.
